This program is open to teachers, yoga experts, parents, anyone who wants to work with children and take a step towards discovering their inner child.
The first of the two weekend meetings will be live and online from the studio, and this weekend will be focused on practice and applications.
The second weekend, the meetings will be theory-based and online via Zoom.
The training materials will be sent as PDFs via e-mail, and the program will also be supported with visuals such as videos and slides.
This program, the first module of which is 40 hours long and the second module of which is 55 hours long, aims to train experts who can relate to children and have the ability to explain yoga poses to children correctly and effectively through stories and educational games. It is designed to be both theoretical and practical.
The content titles to be included in the program are as follows:
- What is children's yoga and what are the differences between it and adult yoga?
- In sessions where there is no competition, correctly conveying yoga poses to children and introducing them to yoga;
- Teaching yoga poses to children through stories and educational games;
- Preparing a children's yoga session plan;
- Exercises and breathing exercises to develop focus and attention span in children;
- What are the mental, physical and psychological goals and gains in children's yoga sessions?
- How can we use yoga to support school life?

Important conditions regarding the program:
Important Notes:
- Participants who have not graduated from any 200-Hour YA Approved Basic Yoga Specialization Program receive a participation certificate that will allow them to work with children comfortably in any institution or school; If you have graduated from any 200-Hour YA Approved Basic Yoga Specialization Program, you can receive a 40-Hour YA approved (YACEP) certificate.
- When full participation in the Specialization Program is achieved, the participant can receive the certificate when the homework and internships are completed.
- This module can be taken as a stand-alone module.
However, in order to receive the 95-Hour Children's Yoga Alliance Certificate, it is necessary to complete Module 2.
Who Can Participate?
Yoga Experts, Mothers, Child Development Students and Graduates, Class Teachers, Child and Adolescent Psychologists and Psychiatrists, Physical Education Teachers, are open to all participants who want to meet their Inner Child.
Prerequisite of the Specialization Program:
- The participant must have a minimum of 3 months (minimum 5-10 sessions beginner level) yoga experience.
- This condition can be completed within a month during or after the Specialization Program.
MODULE 2:
Young people may feel more stressed due to the major changes that adolescence brings and the pressure that the education and exam system creates on them.
The dilemmas that young people experience during adolescence, school life, friendships, hormonal changes, the beginning of their personalities, the decisions they need to make about their future, especially regarding career choices, and the increase in their responsibilities are important reasons that increase the stress they experience.
In coping with the negative effects of emotions such as stress, anxiety, anger, fear that increase due to these situations, yoga helps young people & It is also an effective tool for adolescents.
In this Specialization Program, in addition to focusing on the physical, mental and psychological changes experienced during adolescence/adolescence, we will also be introduced to the concepts of ‘Yoga for Children with Special Needs’ and ‘Mindfulness for Children’.
The first of the meetings, which will be 2 weekends in total, will be held live and online from the studio, and in this weekend meeting, application and practices will be the main focus.
The second weekend, the meetings will be held with a focus on theory and will be held online via Zoom.
