You are invited to transform the rising energy of spring into balance in your body and calmness in your mind.

This wellbeing focused yoga class is designed in a structure compatible with the five element system of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

It balances the liver and gallbladder with the wood element, which is the representative of spring, while offering a holistic balance that includes the elements of Fire, Water, Earth and Metal with breath-focused poses and long holds.

-Endurance - Wood Element (Liver & Gallbladder):
We start the class with a mobility-focused warm-up flow accompanied by breathing. While the muscles in the hips and legs are actively worked, orientation, flexibility and renewal in the body are supported. The movement begins with the rising energy of the wood element.

-Strengthening - Fire Element (Heart & Small Intestine):
We deepen physical endurance and mental focus by holding each pose a little longer than we are used to in standing poses. This section is nourished by the determination, inner leadership and action power of the fire element.

-Calmness – Water Element (Kidney & Bladder):
This section, which supports the kidney and bladder meridians, activates the rooting and surrender energy of the water element. Fatigue is eliminated, energy is aligned.

-Holistic Balance – Metal & Earth Elements:
The breathing exercises we will do throughout the lesson strengthen the purifying and grounding effect. The long savasana in the final gives space for this balanced journey to be digested.
