While everything I feel and practice on the mat sheds light on my life, my “aha” moments broaden and deepen my perspective. In this way, what I say, think, and feel, first to myself and then to those around me, becomes more balanced and holistic. Why do I love teaching yoga sessions so much? Being able to connect with people, being able to touch them, seeing that happiness in the faces and eyes of those who attend my classes, and seeing that I can open the doors of certain feelings in them is priceless. Learning and teaching is an endless river, while teaching and seeing what I have learned from people, feeling that everyone in the class fills that river is the unifying power of yoga.
